Bluetones – Their tech came in with the bands Roland VK-7 organ (end of 2000)
Jeff Beck - I have repaired an RE-201 and a 501 for him (APR 2004)
Chris de Burgh – His tech came in with two MC-500 sequencers used for lighting rig control (1999)
Captain Sensible – Ray Burns himself has visited my premises several times with a VS-1680, RE-201 and some Wah pedals: Thanks for the signed photo and tape! (last in Jan 2001).
Nenah Cherry – Her guitarist came in with a Boss SE-70 (over here during a tour in 1998)
Nigel Clark – Nigel ex Dodgy turned up himself with a VS-880, and I recognised him at once (2000)
Cockney Rebel – James Lascelles sent in a damaged VK-8M whilst on tour in Holland (2005)
Cranes – Jim Shaw one of the two writers and instrumentalist, visited us with his VS-2480 on which he recorded two albums (2007)
Crazy Town – New American Rap group brought in their VSR-880 wile on tour here (2001)
Culture Club – A session guitarist performing with them brought in a GT-5 and a signed picture of George! (2000)
Death In Vegas – Serviced two RE-201 space echos for them (2003)
Delays – Serviced three hard working MC-505s for them, and met Aaron from the band (2004)
Duran Duran - Fixed one of John Taylor's three Jupiter 8s ready for the current tour (2009)
Echo And The Bunnymen – The guitarist came in with a ME-10 just before they released their come back single “I Want It Now” (1999) Stereo MCs - Their tech guy brought in two VP-330 vocoder keyboards and an SDE-1000 – They’re obviously fans of retro gear. And they’re still touring. (2002)
Eternal – They were doing some recording and sent their guitarist in with his GX-700 (1998)
Hugh Padgham – Producer of Sting, Phil Collins and Bowie amongst others with Space Echos (2004)
Human League – Their studio engineer of sixteen years, sent in their JD-800. I was glad to receive this unit as I was a big fan of the band in the early eighties, and got inspiration for a lot of my early songs. They also have a vast amount of early Roland analogue equipment (2002).
Hurricane No1 – One of the band members came in with a faulty SRV-330 effects unit just before their first single was released (1997)
Justine Frischmann – Lead singer with Elastica sent her MC-505 in for repair, have spoken with her many times on the phone, she uses the machine for ideas on the road (2001)
Kaiser Chiefs – Nick Baines AKA ‘Peanut’, sent in three SH-101’s for repair, he was my customer before KC (2006)
Klaxons – Serviced a couple of old Boss products CE-1 and an RPS-10. (Aug 2007)
Led Zepplin – Repaired a small fault to their SPD-s pad (AUG 2005)
Michael Jackson – On tour at Wembley had one of his three JD-800 break down, his management organised this repair (1998)
Leee John – Lead singer with 80s group Imagination lives 2 miles down the Road, he sent his mate in with a DR-202 drum machine (2000)
Jethro Tull – Andy Giddings, keyboard player with Jethro Tull is a regular customer at Delatronics, we keep his D-70s up and running.
Just Jinger – Unknown in this country, but massive everywhere else (no1 hit singles in their home country South Africa). I repaired the lead singers VS-840 and he gave me the bands latest album – It’s superb! It was only after some research that I discovered just how big the band are!

Crispin Mills – Ex singer of Coola Shaker now with ‘Pi’ has had a couple of space echoes repaired here (2000)
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – Nik Cosby sent in an RE-501 (2004)
Ozzy Osbourne – His keyboard player came in with a S-760 sampler (1987)
Pulp – Have serviced all three of their Space echoes (2001/2002)
Prodigy – I have serviced three of the bands four W-30 sampling workstations (1998)
Radiohead – Their tour manager brought in a couple of space echoes (2000)
Roxy Music – Serviced RE-201 Space echo for Andy McKay, the Sax player (2001)
Royksopp – Serviced all their PAD-8s and PAD-80s for their recent tour from the “Melody AM” Album (2003)
John Ratcliffe – He was the producer of the excellent A Ha (thanks for the rare photo!), still out there with his VS-1680 (2000)
Uli Jon Roth – The very talented rock guitarist from the Scorpions, sent in his RE-301 and RE-501 for repair and service (2004)
Leo Sayer – Looked after his keyboard players gear – Pete Stone who is a former Roland colleague (1999)
Suede – Delbt with their manager and serviced their much loved SE-70, also sold them my SE-50 (1997)
Specials - Repaired a Jupiter 8 and Juno 60 for them (Jan 2010)
Stranglers – Their tec guy sent a JD-800 in for a bit of TLC (October 2003)
Joe Strummer – Ex ‘The Clash’, his tech brought in a JC-120, which Joe had kicked the knobs off! (2000)
Midge Ure – His tech brought in the bands MKS 80 (1996)
Steve Vai – I was called out to Shepherd’s Bush Empire to fix his JD-800 before the gig, I met him and also Joe Satriani and Brian May in the hospitality suite that day (1999)
Andy Watts – Ex drummer in ‘The Seahorses’ with a VS-880EX – He signed my ‘Do It Yourself’ album (2000)
